Edward Alleyn, a colourful actor in the Elizabethan theatre, founded Dulwich College in 1619. His dedication to the arts is reflected in the education our students receive today.
Dulwich students are encouraged to explore their creative talents. Exploring the Arts provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain insight into various cultures across time periods and also to develop and demonstrate skills of creativity, collaboration and communication. As such, the Arts are a thriving and integral part of Dulwich College (Singapore). A state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre will open in 2016. The Performing Arts Centre will include three fully equipped professional theatres, an art exhibition space, and a dance space. Students enjoy dedicated and spacious visual art facilities for all age groups and are encouraged to experiment with a broad array of mediums, including dedicated onsite kilns and pottery spaces.
